Details
Sanlam Cape Town Marathon road closures will result in little to no access to parking near the start/finish area. The event’s convenient Park & Ride options will safely take you to the marathon start (and back), so you can enjoy your day without having to worry about traffic.
Book your tickets by 30 September.
Park & Ride: Departing from Century City
Meet at the Century City Long March to Freedom Parking Facility (opposite the Shell), where there will be secure parking and toilets.
The first bus departs at 04h00, with buses continuously departing with athletes on a first come first serve basis, until 05h00.
Buses will depart from the Stadium Station in Green Point between 10h00 and 14h30 (last bus) to take athletes back to Century City.
Park & Ride: Departing from University of Cape Town (UCT)
Meet at the UCT Shuttle North Stop (enter on the North Entrance Road) where there will be secure parking and toilets.
The first bus departs at 04h00, with buses continuously departing with athletes on a first come first serve basis, until 05h00.
Buses will depart from the Stadium Station in Green Point between 10h00 and 14h30 (last bus) to take athletes back to UCT.
